Six Operational Failure Modes

Proposed test 1
Mandate drift and issuance integrity
Attempt unauthorised issuance in a synthetic environment. Verify mandate, signing authority, supply cap and unchanged ledger state.
Proposed test 2
Custody commingling and segregation breach
Attempt a client-to-proprietary transfer. Observe the enforcement point, tenant separation and reconciled balances.
Proposed test 3
Asynchronous delivery-versus-payment interruption
Delay one settlement leg. Record both states, finality, timeout and supported compensation; never assume reversal.
Proposed test 4
Provenance and disclosure spoof
Alter an oracle input. Retain source, version and timestamp, flag the mismatch and review downstream use.
Proposed test 5
De-peg, insolvency cascade and wind-down
Stress the settlement asset. Establish actual liquidity, legal powers, dependencies and residual exposure.
Proposed test 6
Cross-border conduct and data minimization
Attempt a restricted data transfer. Verify applicable rules, purpose limitation and documented policy rationale.
